FAQ

What does "Apex" mean?

Apex is your highest achievable point. Apex Driving School as our name indicates strives to help you become the very best possible driver. We believe that the importance of having better than average driving skill and ability grows with each passing day. Every day literally thousands of drivers are being introduce to share virtually the same number of streets & highways.

How long will it take to learn how to drive?

No two drivers learn exactly the same. Therefore it is impossible to predetermine how many lessons you will need. A fairly close estimate can be given at the completion of your first lesson.

What determines the number of training hours?

  1. Prior driving experience
  2. Lesson frequency and length
  3. Quality of teacher and method
  4. Support of addition quality practice time
  5. Attitude

Why is there a price disparity between driving schools?

Schools that are price driven, give less concern to quality. They pay lower wages to instructors who are generally poorly trained. A higher caliber instructor is compensated for the time and energy required to attain a higher level of professionalism. Since having a better instructor translates into fewer lessons, the total investment in your training would be far less than with an instructor of less ability.

Do you have any women instructors?

At this present time, no. However, we do have really nice men.

Are the training vehicles available for the DMV test?

Yes, it is scheduled as a 2.5 hour lesson, and you must demonstrate the ability to drive safely.
